Enhanced Listening
Once you have registered on-line with Live365, you are then free to listen 24 hours a day to the output here at Meditation Music.co.uk with most web friendly listening software, such as Real Player and Winamp. But it's possible to hear it with enhanced quality on a player that is capable of receiving MP3 Pro. Some manufacturers are now adding this capability to their software. The Live365 Player has MP3 Pro enhancement built into it, but only for preferred members.

Listening Alternatives
The in-stream commercials and idents that are inserted into the broadcasts by the network provider Live 365 can be very disruptive if you are serious about using the music here for meditation. Below there's a tip to help you get around this problem, but you can also minimize the interruptions by listening commercial free as Live 365 Preferred Member.

This feature however, does cost a few dollars a month but you may find it worth it if you are likely to be a regular visitor. Unfortunately Live 365 still insist upon putting their idents in between some of the tracks even for preferred members. but you do at least have an ad-free experience. If you think this service may be for you then the good news is that Live 365 offer a 7 day FREE trial, so that you can try the scheme out for a week before you spend your money.

A Listening Tip
Whether you choose to listen as a preferred member or you just opt for the standard broadcast, the idents etc. can be a nuisance (not to mention a rude and sudden awakening) for serious meditators.

To help get around this the tracks featured on Meditation Music.co.uk are all fairly long (at least 9 minutes and often much longer). The Network providers system only ever inserts an ident or break after a track has finished and with a minimum of 15 minutes between each one. So a good tip would be to tune in and listen for a while. Once a track has ended and the ident has played take a note of the length of the new track that follows (the time is shown in the player window, which updates live), and then you know how much time you've got to attempt some meditation. Many of the tracks are 20+ minutes long, so if you hit lucky, you'll have a good window of opportunity.
